Accelerate the Future of Sustainable Food

Global Call for Startups is a competition for early-stage innovators with the potential to influence food systems at scale. Working with the venture ecosystem, impact investors and industry, it backs founders accelerating technologies that can drive the shift towards a healthy, just and sustainable food system and inspire more to act.

The initiative is supported in 2026 by Accenture, Katapult and Norrsken Foundation.

Winners 2026 SELECTED

Five winners has been selected spanning regenerative agriculture, biotech, ingredient development, supply-chain transparency and food-sector finance, showing that transforming the food system takes multiple approaches working together.

  • Distribution and access solutions

Our mission is to accelerate the next generation of solutions aligned with The 2025 EAT-Lancet Commission Report for healthy, sustainable, and just food systems.

HOW does it work

  • May  1 – June 22, 2026: Applications open

  • June – August: Evaluation & Selection

  • 14-15 October: Pitch spot at Norrsken Impact Week in Barcelona

  • September - February: Tailored support program with partners
