Criteria

Through a series of rounds, the startups are evaluated against a set of criteria. The criteria build on the forthcoming EAT Lancet 2.0 report, which will provide global guardrails for healthy, sustainable, and socially just food systems. Using this scientific framework and adding a commercial lens we will identify future winners and transformative solutions who at scale will make a significant contribution to our food system.

We are looking for startups with traction in the business stages of pre-seed to series A and for whom winning the prize will bring a catalytic effect. The solution should be based on a scalable technology, validated in a relevant environment, and with clear freedom to operate. Behind the startup should be a team with proven relevant experience and full-time commitment.
