Global Call for Startups

The Global Call for Startups is a competition for early-stage ventures dedicated to transforming the food systems. This initiative aligns with the upcoming EAT-Lancet 2.0 report, which will provide guidelines for healthy, sustainable and socially just food systems. EAT, in partnership with global early-stage investing leaders Antler, Katapult, and Norrsken Foundation will offer tailored support to winning startups to scale their impact.

Meet The 2025 Winners

Selected for their pioneering ideas, these startups are tackling some of the most urgent challenges and rethinking the systems behind them, from reducing chemical use and food waste, to developing he—althy and sustainable ingredients, increasing accessibility, and encouraging better consumer choices.

EAT, in partnership with global early-stage investing leaders Antler and Katapult, as well as Norrsken Foundation will offer tailored support to help winning startups scale their impact.

About the Competition

From March 17 to April 30 2025, the Global Call for Startups invites founders worldwide to apply. Through a rigorous evaluation process, top teams will be selected to attend the EAT Stockholm Food Forum on 3-4 October 2025, alongside influential scientists, investors, and policymakers.

These teams will gain access to investors, collaboration networks, and other strategic resources, including residency programs with Antler, funding opportunities through Katapult, and global networking with Norrsken, empowering them to drive transformative solutions for a just and sustainable food future.
